This blog is for anybody who is worried about how life is in OCS, from enrolling all the way to commission. As of today, I am 10 weeks into service term. So I will be going through every little small thing that I worried about before enlisting.

Enlistment Day : You will go to Warrior's Hall, and get detailed into your wings. This will follow by a 1 White Bar presentation as well as your OCS Formation Tab parade. Next will be getting to know your buddies and the usual orientation crap for the next few days.

All the way till your 2nd bar presentation you will not go outfield(you would not have been issued your rifle yet anyway.) This is your honeymoon period as they describe it, where you will go for lectures after lectures, enjoy aircon etc etc. You will miss those times eventually!! So enjoy it! :)

On the day itself, expect to get turned out by your cadet seniors and get tekan abit here and there. Don't worry this is but a small part of the shit you will face in OCS so just suck it up. It's easy! just laugh it off. lol. Then it's family visit day... so just enjoy the morning and afternoon its time for people to move out of your wing(to AIR wing!).
