Singapore's system is that of a meritocracy society, Which just means that, rewards are based on merits, and achievements. Being educated locally, that emphasis has repeatedly been highlighted throughout my tenure in the education system. So seemingly, you can relate meritocracy, to results. And with results come another philosophy, efforts equals to results. How true is that?
One need not be a skeptic to disagree with that i'm sure, each of us has different encounters that defies the gravity of that philosophy. But i'm sure each of us remotely believes that effort is required to achieve results. So what do you make of it then?
