Yesterday was the first day of my new job as a waiter in Global Sounds Music Studio & Cafe. ok so initially i thought i was going to be one. but apparently, it was not to be. reached there at about 6pm, i was nearly late, the boss was already calling me. on reaching, i was given a 1 hour orientation, over how the place works, and the table numbers, methods of preparation etc... everything is pretty simple, as it only involves the deep fryer, microwave, and oven. except the sandwiches of course. the kitchen staff(which i was allocated to) comprised of 2 people, me and one other of course. the other was supposedly a long-serving staff, of which i dont doubt that. she didnt really guide me along, its really too damn easy, but the way she does things, was unlike the textbook style i learnt. so its pretty confusing imo. anyway, everyone at my workplace is friendly! from the bosses, to their families, to my seniors, all were damn friendly, that really contributed to the atmosphere there. beyond cooking, and preparation, i also went to serve customers, which were on a higher floor, and i couldnt wear shoes up there, so it was pretty inconvenient, taking off my shoes, climbing the stairs, coming back down, putting on my shoes, and pretty much running around the place. also did lots of dish-washing(not like it was unexpected) and the such.


its really interesting how many people i know that stays near bedok/tampines/simei that area. and my senior was another one. very queer. does half of singapore's population comes from there ?_?. the choco fondue looks ownage(the one i cooked of course), though i tasted it, i wish i could just indulge in it. damnx. while working yesterday, had a really stupid noisy competition coming from downstairs, and there was this girl, who sounded like some kindergarten kid, singing "Against the Light" by Sun Yan Zi. she apparently got stefanie and Rainie mixed up, as she adoped the cutsy approach to the sound, which was just totally wrong. but well, at least there was a nice rendition of "My Heart Will Go On" by god knows who. pretty much enjoyable working experience. but i can tell my senior was trying to control her vulgarities. apparently she thinks that i dont spout vulgarities.(maybe i dont?) rofl. BEYOND ALL THIS!

its amazing, how people can still visit my fanfiction after so many months of inactivity. =\. i havent updated for about 6 months, and suddenly, someone posts, and asks me to update. yeah i wanna finish both of them up anyway. 1 left 3 chappies, the other i forgot how many more i want to write. essentially, i will reembark on my FF writing campaign!

GXL has started again. woot, after about 2 months plus, im finding myself back into familar territory. i havent wrote anything for weeks, been really too busy. or am i?

been studying a hell lot this o'levels. i never studied so much in my life. really makes me incredibly amazed at my own ability, and fortitude to take the onslaught of books. hopefully i'll get good grades, but then, it may be a bad thing. if i ever get 13 points and below, i'll have to go SAJC. not like im discouting it or anything but, SAJC is a good school, for science course to be 8, and arts to be 9. but since my CCA happens to be A2, and my affliation, i see no issue to get inside. this exams, im super confident, though beyond my understand where i get the confidence from. SAJC means mugging, mugging, A'levels. do i really want that kind of lifestyle? i see my peers(in gaming) they are all so slack throughout their poly life. should i follow them? im not too sure, and im not in a position to declare nor state anything now, as pretty obviously, the results havent even been released. heck, i havent even finish my o'levels. -_-. regardless, i still think i will get inside.


that aside, gxl has started. and im finding myself in a position i've never been in before, as the defending champion. i dunno if i can do it again this season, i was sort of lucky the previous season, and hopefully, luck would be with me again. somehow, suntec has a special bond with me. each year i go suntec, i never fail to bring anything back home, and its where i can claim my greatest achievements.

- Both teams will be allowed to take out up to 3 heroes from the pool of heroes before drafting starts.
- Teams can choose to stop taking out heroes before the maximum 3 heroes limit.

7.3 Restrictions
- Creep skipping is not allowed, meaning you may not attack the enemies building without creep support. If you reached the building with creeps you are allowed to continue attacking it even if the creeps are killed. If you reached the opponents base together with allied creeps, you may attack all buildings, and you do not have to cancel your attack if your creeps have been killed.

- Each team may only have two Mekansm
- Each team may only have two Necronomicon
- Each team may only have one Refresher Orb
- Each team may only have one Arcane Ring
- Each team may only have in total either

- It is allowed to share unit control to purchase items, as long as the item is delivered immediately to the player who paid for it

- Items which are dropped from a kill or chicken may be picked up by:
- any enemy player, and the item is now considered his. The enemy hero who picked the dropped item is not allowed to give the item to his allies, he can use it during the game or he can sell it for gold
- any ally player, who MUST RETURN THE ITEM TO ITS OWNER WITHOUT ATTACKING/USING IT (not even neutral creeps), or he can place the item near the fountain so the owner can take it!!

- It is not allowed to block creeps with the help of spells, such as fissure, sprout etc. it is only allowed to use the hero model to slow creeps
Teams are required to save game as often as they deem necessary.
- The teams must save game right after first blood
- Disconnect before a hero has been killed: match restart
- Disconnect after a hero has been killed: If a savegame has been made within the last 15 minutes, then consult the rule below. If not then the game continues without the disconnected player.
- If team 1 have killed 5+ heroes more than team 2 during the period of the last savegame and the disconnection, then the disconnect is in the favour of team 1. For example:
- At the time of the savegame the score is 35-35
- At the time of the disconnection the score is 42-37 for team 1
- Since team 1 have killed 5+ heroes more than team 2, team 1 may now chose wether to continue the match or remake from the savegame.
- A tower counts for 3 kills when calculating this, an Aegis counts for ?a kill rounding down, a rax counts for 5 kills.

- If neither team is in advantage then an admin should be consulted, unless teams can agree to a decision by themselves.
- After a remake all players have to pick the same heros as before, and must go to the same starting lane. On initial creep contact, the players may change lane
- If the same player disconnects more than 3 times, then the opposing team may chose to continue the match without him.
- It is allowed to use a disconnected hero, but it is not allowed to give his items to other players. The items may either stay on the disconnected hero, or be sold so the money is dispersed among the remaining players.
